 
 
			
			6. For a 2 ¼” wood frame, put both  2 ¼” sliders in the back track. 
			Position the sliders about 1” in from inside of wood frame. (they slide 
			back and forth easily)
	
		 
			
			
			
			7. Facing the image, drop the loose end of the canvas in the opening 
			formed when you
			
			
			 put your foot on the pedal.  
			
Watch your fingers!
		   
			
8. Keep your foot on the pedal while you lay the frame down and pull it forward till it drops over the slider. Tuck the canvas uniformly in the slot. (The end of the canvas catches sometimes; jostled it to fit)
			9. Release the foot pedal WITHOUT your fingers anywhere near the 
			slot. 
			
			
			Note- the bar is squeezing against the canvas now.
			
			 
 
			
			10. Flip the toggle switch on the far right end 
			of the machine. The canvas pops up!
	  
		
			
			
			POP...
			the canvas is now under tension.
			
			Wiggle the canvas to be sure it is stretched evenly.
