Construction began on Caveman Bridge in 1927 and was completed in 1931. Caveman Bridge is a "rainbow arch bridge," built by Conde B. McCullough. It is almost 550 feet long and 27 feet wide. The Caveman Bridge is eligible for the National Register of Historic Places and carries traffic South from downtown Grants Pass over the Rogue River.
