This Gallery is... The Portland Classical Chinese Garden (Lan Su Chinese Garden)  was built in the year 2000 by craftsmen and artisans from Portland and Suzhou, China.  Their mission was to create an oasis of tranquil beauty as well as visually describe aesthetics surrounding Ming Dynasty scholars.
Though it is only one block in size, in Old Town/Chinatown, it provides a constantly changing Chinese landscape  made of water, stones, pathways, and pavilions. Just as a duck returns each year to hatch her ducklings, a person will come back to the garden,  over and over again,  to listen to nature's never ending tale.
Our sincere appreciation to the Portland Classical Chinese Garden for allowing us to photograph these lovely scenes.
